A spacious and welcoming haven awaits you on North Lake! Packed with amenities, this home is perfect for a family vacation or a quiet escape away from it all. Indoor/outdoor living opportunities abound, with a large screened in porch leading to an expansive deck which overlooks the lush garden and all-sports lake. A fully stocked kitchen and tastefully decorated open-concept living room/ dining room/ kitchen will have you feeling at home in no time. Three well-appointed bedrooms and 1.5 baths are conveniently located on the first floor. The second floor master suite offers a gorgeous bathroom with a clawfoot soaking tub, a separate open shower. This suite has private balcony with lake views, as well as an adjoining bunk room. There's a second upstairs wood paneled queen suite with a gaming room and floor to ceiling view of the lake! There’s loft space, which can function as additional living space or as an office, with a bathroom and second upstairs laundry for convenience. There is plenty of internet bandwidth for remote work and school!
There is a large playroom equipped with toys, games, books, and videos for rainy days or quiet evenings indoors. The house offers a private tennis court, dock, plentiful outdoor games, a play structure, sports equipment, fishing gear, a kayak, a standing paddle board, ample parking, a grill, and plentiful baby and toddler necessities as needed.
North Lake sits just north of Chelsea and Dexter, close to the fine dining and entertaining opportunities they offer. It is also a short 30 minute drive to Ann Arbor for further art, music, and culinary experiences, the University of Michigan, as well as visits to the Big House for a football game.
For the outdoors folks, Pinckney State Park is nearby, with it’s beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails. Mountain bikers love the challenge of the Potawatomi and DTE trails. The Huron River is picturesque, so bring your extra kayaks or tubes to enjoy the river! Local liveries will also rent kayaks and tubes if you are flying in from afar. Local marinas are available to rent pontoons for during your stay with delivery possible. Golfing is nearby... the list goes on!

Summary: We had planned to host Christmas at our remodeled home. However, backorderd items halted those efforts and we needed plan b. Paula came to the rescue and the beautiful house was perfect for our large party. She was prompt with her responses and was kind enough to decorate with a Christmas tree that made it feel like home. We are very appreciative and will return for future rentals.

Summary: Such a great gathering house! Gorgeous sunsets on the lake. Plenty of room to spread out. Huge tables in the dining and screen porch for big family meals. Fun and games for everyone!

Summary: The home was one of the nicest ones at which we've stayed. We had a family week with a total of 9 adults, 1 teenager and 1 toddler. The huge game room was a great hangout for all. The toddler was happy with all of the toys provided! And the adults had plenty of comfortable couch to watch the Olympics in the evenings. We also liked the enclosed porch for our morning coffee. The home was so well supplied with paper products, kitchen appliances, dishes, pans, etc. The special touches of the Keurig coffee pot with a big variety of coffee pods included, as well as a regular coffee pot were appreciated. There was also a basket of S'more fixings, firewood if you wanted an outdoor fire - it was a hot week, so we didn't do that. Also a counter basket of Snacks, special food items, etc. We felt very welcome, and thoroughly enjoyed the week.

Summary: We have 3 toddlers and this house was the perfect place to stay for our family of 5! The kids loved the playroom, perfect space for them! Paula is an amazing host who went above and beyond for us! Would love to stay here in the summer when we can experience the lake! Highly recommend!!

Summary: This house was perfect for our holiday family get together and enabled us to spend quality time with each other- kids and adults! Layout and amenities couldn’t be better for entertaining. Our group lucked out with November weather and we were able to enjoy the tennis/bball court, playground, yard and fire pit to roast s’mores. I can see how the lake activities would bring even more fun in the summertime. There were so many toys for the kids across ages (1 to 7 years) they never got bored and we liked the separation with the play room and TV separate from the kitchen/living/dining so we weren’t on top of each other. The host Paula was super responsive to our messages leading up to our stay and also while we were there. I’d definitely recommend this property to anyone looking in the area!

Summary: Our experience with Paula started off amazingly with her helping me answer ALL of my questions leading up to our stay! I try not to be needy, but I was “that” guest this trip and she was so kind and helpful!! We were pleasantly surprised to arrive at the house with all of the outdoor toys ready for us to use, a fully stocked coffee, kitchen and SMORES!! The rooms were fantastic, beds were so comfortable and the space was perfectly spread out for a large family gathering. We played tennis everyday, kids colored, we swam and enjoyed sitting around the patio! Thank you for allowing us to use your home!

Summary: This rental was perfect for our group of 14 , grandparents down to babies. Clean, spacious, and with so many thoughtful amenities and lots of playthings. The lake and beach are clean and family-friendly. Communication with the owner was prompt and convenient. This property feels quite secluded even though neighbors are close by. We played lots of pickle ball, spent hours in the water, fished, read books, and enjoyed the peaceful view. Some took advantage of the nearby mountain bike trails and disc golf courses. The playroom has games, books, movies, and toys for kids of all ages which we especially appreciated it on a stormy day! A great Wi-Fi connection made it possible for one adult to be with us who had to work part of every day. The photos really don’t do justice to this listing. It feels even larger in person and there have been many updates. Everyone in our group wants to return here for our next family vacation!
